F1 2019: summary of the fourth day of test

Toro Rosso - Honda

Today has expired on day 4, last day of the first round of the two tests that will be this preseason of F1 2019 . A day that has gone by without too many incidents, just a few exits from the track, like the one we lived in the early hours of the morning with Lando Norris in the McLaren, which was going back when trying to accelerate when I was going at a very low speed. For the rest, we are seeing a very good reliability of all the mechanics.

That includes Renault and Honda , that despite having retouched their engines for this year, it does not seem that have had breakages so far, and that they have shot a lot. Mercedes and Ferrari continue with what they have accustomed us, to very good reliability. However, although Ferrari has done the best times since the first day, Mercedes is always quite hidden. And today it was Toro Rosso who had the pleasure of being the fastest during most of the session, although at the last minute Renault has snatched it. Brand war?

Renault in the 2019 tests

It is still early to evaluate and take valid times , but what is certain is that we have seen many tests with paraffin in several cars, sensors, and all the typical tests. Despite all the variables, some have rushed back to predict that Ferrari is the fastest, as Helmut Marko, who has ensured that they are ahead and then they would come (Red Bull) and Mercedes that are a step behind ...? We will see the last day of testing, or rather, we will see in the classification of the GP of Australia that is when we will really see the potential of each one in a reliable way.

Today McLaren has been able to make a career path like the GP of Spain to prove even more the reliability and everything has come out properly. But if you want to see the turns and times of all, here goes our table:
